Music Production
Listed below are unpublished & mostly unfinished instrumentals composed and produced by Art Schobey. Some are only “sound sketches”, others are longer “feeling-scapes”. You may notice often-repeated chord progressions and themes as we experiment with various arrangement possibilities. Lastly, a few are actual songs nearing completion and awaiting future lyrics. All were created using a combination of solid music theory, traditional and virtual instruments, a digital audio workstation (DAW), and augmented intelligence tools.

In other words, we oppose the “Hey ChatGPT, make me a song!” approach. The incorporation of today’s new tools, if used ethically and judiciously, means great things for music now and in the future. Creating these tracks was a deeply hands-on, iterative process of manually constructing the musical content & structure, then shaping, listening to, and fine-tuning until the desired sound & feeling was captured. The final result is a powerful creative collaboration between human guidance & technological innovation producing what we feel is well-engineered, meaningful music crafted with both precision and soul.
